Using & Abusing Google Webfonts

Central repos for webfonts are probably one of the greatest things to happen to the visual web.  Hundreds of fonts are now easily available to spice up your content.

I’ve recently found a few nice nuggets for those that use Google’s webfonts, that I thought are worth sharing.

  1. SkyFonts Рa neat little program that can easily download fonts from Google (and fonts.com) to your desktop and keep them updated.
  2. Google TTF Font Repow0ng@github has setup a repo that mirrors all of the TTF font files from Google Fonts.
  3. @font-face CSS for all Google Fonts – I’ve posted CSS for the entire Google Font library in TTF and WOFF formats.
